Countless DMs have dreamed of designing wizard towers for their D&D sessions. One such DM has realized his dreams in a most spectacular fashion, and his name is Jonathan Roberts. A shining example of his efforts (The Arcanist’s Mill) is on display at a site called Fantastic Maps, alongside enough of the designer’s own commentary to make visitors feel right at home. There’s even a helpful walkthrough video, to further demystify the process.
“Any wizard’s tower should be a little unusual, and have multiple levels,” writes Roberts. The Arcanist’s Mill is certainly that, and each one of its fantastic four levels has something to inspire DMs at gaming tables around the globe.
